Europe T&D project tenders activity down 2% in Q4 2021

There were 85 T&D project tenders announced in the Europe region in Q4 2021, marking a drop of 2% over the last four-quarter average of 87, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2021 with 85 tenders and a 28.7% share, followed by Power Plant with 67 tenders and a 22.6% share and T&D Equipment with 48 tenders and a 16.2% share during the quarter.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

1. Project Implementation: 51 tenders and a 60% share
2. Consulting & Similar Services: 22 tenders and a 25.9% share
3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 12 tenders and a 14.1% share.

Solar is top technology for Europe T&D project tenders in Q4 2021

Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for two tenders with a 100% share.
