Description

The project is being developed by Hinckley Solar, NextEra Energy Resources and Ranger Solar. The project is currently owned by NextEra Energy Resources.

Fairfield Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 120 acres.

The project is expected to generate 30,786MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 3,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $34m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to The Connecticut Light and Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 19.58MW.
