The project is developed and owned by Karntner Elektrizitats-Aktiengesellschaft.
Feldsee is a pumped storage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 1.65 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 520m. The penstock length is 1,820m. The project generated 300 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $202.125m.

Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of pump turbines, each with 68.89MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the project.
