Description
The project was developed by Webuild and is currently owned by Comision Federal de Electricidad.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 1,360 million cubic meter. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 1 in number. The penstock length is 1,060m. The penstock diameter is 3.5m. The project generated 1,273 GWh of electricity.

Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of pelton turbines, each with 146MW nameplate capacity.
