Description
The project was developed by Multifuel Energy and SSE. The project is co-owned by SSE and Wheelabrator Technologies, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project generates 0.003GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 180,000 households. The project cost is $367.193m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste, municipal solid waste and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.

Hitachi Zosen Inova was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.
Hitachi Zosen Inova supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 145.1TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 430Degree Celsius. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 73bar.
