The project was developed by EOS Holding and Grande Dixence SA Joint Venture. Axpo Solutions, Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke, BKW Energie, Axpo Power and Electricite de France are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 29.25%, 19.5%, 19.5%, 19.5% and 9.75% respectively.
Fionnay Mauvoisin is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 204 million cubic meter. Fionnay Mauvoisin underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1998-2006. The project generated 278 GWh of electricity.
