The project is a part of UK Power Reserve’s first 60 MW of its battery portfolio – a total of 120 MW were secured in the 2016 Capacity Market auction. These battery storage installations join Sembcorp’s UK fleet of gas-fired plants, which provide flexible, efficient, rapid-response power to the UK energy market.
