The project is currently owned by Enel Green Power Panama with a stake of 50.06%.
Fortuna is a reservoir based project. The net head of the project is 765m. The project generated 1,661 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of pelton turbines, each with 100MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 94.5 MVA.
