Description

Frances Creek Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Duke Energy.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 345/69kV and the operating voltage level is 345/69kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 345kV and the step-out voltage is 69kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 200MVA.

Frances Creek Substation project development status

The project is expected to be commissioned in 2023. Approximately $7.1m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
