The project was developed by Huadian (Fujian) Wind Power and is currently owned by Huadian Fuxin Energy with a stake of 100%.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 1,058,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 939,100t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $959.899m.

Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm (Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm Phase II – Area B) consists of 24 turbines.

The Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm (Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm Phase I – Area A), has 90m high towers.

The Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm (Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm Phase II – Area B), has 90m high towers.

Contractors Involved

Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm (Fujian Fuqing Haitan Strait Offshore Wind Farm Phase I – Area A) is equipped with China Ming Yang Wind Power Group MySE7.0-158 turbines. The phase consists of 22 turbines with 7MW nameplate capacity.
