Fukushima Natural Gas Power Plant is a 1,180MW gas fired power project. It is located in Fukushima, Japan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in April 2020.

The project was developed by Fukushima Gas Power. Japan Petroleum Exploration, Mitsui, Osaka Gas, Hokkaido Electric Power and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33%, 29%, 20%, 9% and 9% respectively.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from Soma LNG Base.
The project got commissioned in April 2020.
Mitsubishi Power was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 2 steam turbines.
