Description
The project was developed by Fukushima Gas Power. Japan Petroleum Exploration, Mitsui, Osaka Gas, Hokkaido Electric Power and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33%, 29%, 20%, 9% and 9% respectively.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from Soma LNG Base.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2020.
