The project is being developed and currently owned by Elektrani na Severna Makedonija.

Galiste is a reservoir based project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 129.2m and 128.57m respectively. The project is expected to generate 262.5 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $269.558m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 64.5MW nameplate capacity.

The project will have 3 electric generators installed at the project site. The generator capacity is likely to be 71.9 MVA.
