The project is being developed by Assignia Infraestructuras, Enlight Renewable Energy and Grupo Essentium. The project is currently owned by Enlight Renewable Energy with a stake of 72%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 260,000 households, to offset 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $719.16m.

Contractors Involved

Nordex will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 65 units of N149/4.0-4.5 turbines, each with 4.8MW nameplate capacity.

Nordex is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 20 years.

The wind power project will consists of Concrete towers to be supplied Nordex. These towers will be around 120m high.

The rotor blades are likely to be supplied by Nordex.
