Gerusoppa is a 240MW hydro power project. It is located on Sharavathi river/basin in Karnataka, India. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2001.

The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 4 in number. The penstock diameter is 5.6m. The project generated 338.5 GWh of electricity.
The project got commissioned in 2001.
Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 60MW nameplate capacity.
