Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of contracts during February 2022 with a 43.5% share.
The proportion of contracts by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Power Purchase Agreement: 33 contracts and a 45.2% share
- Project Implementation: 23 contracts and a 31.5% share
- Supply & Erection: 14 contracts and a 19.2% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 1.4% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 1.4% share
- Electricity Supply: one contract and a 1.4% share.

By GlobalDataComparing contracts activity in solar technology in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 27 contracts and a share of 37% during February 2022, followed by Europe with 21 contracts and a 28.8% share and North America with 15 contracts and a 20.5% share.
In fourth place was South and Central America with six contracts and an 8.2% share and in fifth place was Middle East and Africa with four contracts and a 5.5% share.

The top issuers of contracts in Solar technology for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:
