Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of contracts during July 2021 with a 49.5% share.

The proportion of contracts by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Power Purchase Agreement: 55 contracts and a 40.4% share
  2. Project Implementation: 41 contracts and a 30.1% share
  3. Supply & Erection: 30 contracts and a 22.1% share
  4. Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 2.9% share
  5. Electricity Supply: four contracts and a 2.9% share
  6. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 1.5% share.
