Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, nuclear held the fifth position in terms of number of contracts during Q4 2021 with a 2.5% share.

The proportion of contracts by category in the Nuclear technology tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Consulting & Similar Services: seven contracts and a 30.4% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six contracts and a 26.1% share
  3. Supply & Erection: four contracts and a 17.4% share
  4. Project Implementation: three contracts and a 13% share
  5. Others: two contracts and an 8.7% share
  6. Power Purchase Agreement: one contract and a 4.3% share.

Europe leads nuclear contracts activity in Q4 2021

Comparing contracts activity in nuclear technology in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 11 contracts and a share of 47.8% during Q4 2021, followed by North America with six contracts and a 26.1% share and Asia-Pacific with four contracts and a 17.4% share.

In fourth place was Middle East and Africa with two contracts and an 8.7% share.
