The project was developed by Glow IPP. Glow IPP and WHA Utilities & Power Public are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 95% and 5% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.
The project generated 5,106,000MWh of electricity.
The project got commissioned in January 2003.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 2 steam turbines.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of GT26 gas turbines.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
