The project is developed and owned by GP Wind (Jangi) Private.

The project generates 268,177MWh electricity thereby offsetting 254,527t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $132.943m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 51 units of V-100 turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.
