Gronviken – Horndal Line, Sweden

Gronviken – Horndal Line is a 400kV overhead line from Gronviken, Gaevleborg, Sweden, to Horndal, Dalarna, Sweden.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2022.

Description

Gronviken – Horndal Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Svenska Kraftnat. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $164.21m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The development of the Gronviken – Horndal Line project has been approved by the Swedish Energy Markets Inspectorate.
