Description

The project is currently owned by A2A.

The gross head of the project is 591m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock diameter is 2.9m. Grosio underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2000-2002. The project generated 900 GWh of electricity.
