The project cost is $180m.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Georgia Power under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

MasTec Power was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

Siemens was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company supplied SST-600 model turbines for the project. Siemens supplied the electric generator for the project.

Veolia Energy Operating Services is the O&M contractor for the project.
