Description

The project was developed by Edify Energy, Solar Choice and WIRSOL Energy. WIRSOL Energy and Edify Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 94.9% and 5.1% respectively.

Hamilton Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 389 acres.

The project generates 144,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 23,000 households, offsetting 134,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $113.16m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to ERM Power under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 57.5MW.

Contractors Involved

Bouygues Construction Australia was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 215,280 modules at the site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied its SMA 2500 SC inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.

Bouygues Construction Australia is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
