Description
The Hazel Creek Substation project is an upgrade substation being operated by Xcel Energy.
The designed voltage level of the project is 345/230kV, while the operating voltage level is 345/230kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 345kV and the step-out voltage is 230kV.
Hazel Creek Substation has received approval from Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to undertake the works on the project. Approximately $3.3m was financed by the authorities for the construction works of the project.
