HBRE Vung Tau Marine Wind Power Project is a 500MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in South China Sea, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Vietnam. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

Description

The project is being developed by Electricite de France, Evngenco 3 and HBRE Group. The project is currently owned by HBRE Group.

The project is expected to generate 2,267,136MWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,500m. The project will be spread over an area of 120km².
