Hell’s Kitchen Geothermal Project, US

Hell’s Kitchen Geothermal Project is a 1,100MW geothermal power project. It is planned in California, the US. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

The project is being developed and currently owned by Controlled Thermal Resources (US).

The geothermal plant is of triple flash type.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 1,000,000 households.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the Hell’s Kitchen Geothermal Project will be sold to Imperial Irrigation District under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 40MW.
