The project was developed by EDF Renewables and LIncoln Legacy. The project is co-owned by BlackRock and EDF Renewables, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 55,000 households. The project cost is $340m.

Contractors Involved

Hereford Wind Project (Hereford Wind Project I) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.85-82.5 turbines. The phase consists of 54 turbines with 1.85MW nameplate capacity.

Hereford Wind Project (Hereford Wind Project II) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V100-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 50 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

EDF Renewable Services and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
