Higashi Yamaguchi Substation is a 500/220kV substation located in Higashi Yamaguchi, Kunigami, Japan. The construction works on Higashi Yamaguchi Substation began in 2017. The project was commissioned in 2019.

Description

The Higashi Yamaguchi Substation project is a new substation being operated by The Chugoku Electric Power.

The designed voltage level of the project is 500/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 500/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 1,000MVA.

Higashi Yamaguchi Substation has received approval from The Energy Conservation Center to undertake the works on the project.
