Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of Tandem Compound, Double Exhaust, Reheat Condensing Type turbines, each with 600MW nameplate capacity.

Mitsubishi Power supplied Three-Phase AC Synchronous electric generator for the Hirono Coal Fired Power Plant (Hirono Coal Fired Power Plant Unit I).

Mitsubishi Power supplied steam boiler for the Hirono Coal Fired Power Plant (Hirono Coal Fired Power Plant Unit I).
