Hoanh Bo Substation is a 500kV substation located in Hoanh Bo, Quang Ninh, Vietnam.
The Hoanh Bo Substation project’s construction has begun in 2018. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.
Description
Hoanh Bo Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Northern Power.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 500kV and the operating voltage level is 500kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 126MVA.
Hoanh Bo Substation project development status
The development of the Hoanh Bo Substation project was approved by Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam in 2018. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.
