Hongkong Offshore Wind Farm is a 250MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in South China Sea, Hong Kong. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Description

The project is being developed by CLP Power Hong Kong and HK Offshore Wind. The project is currently owned by CLP Power Hong Kong.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 140,000 households, to offset 220,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $903m. The project will be spread over an area of 15km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed suction caisson foundations and will be interconnected by 33kV inter-array cable.

The wind power project consists of 17 turbines.
