Hoohana Solar PV Park 1 is a 67MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Hawaii, the US. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in August 2023.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Ho’ohana Solar 1.

Hoohana Solar PV Park 1 is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 352 acres.

The project cost is expected to be around $140m.

26 inverters are likely to get installed at the project site.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by August 2023.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Hawaiian Electric under a power purchase agreement from 2023. The offtake capacity is expected to be 52MW.
