Horta – Avelgem Line is a 380kV overhead line with a length of 40km from Horta, Brussels, Belgium, to Avelgem, West Flanders, Belgium.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Description

Horta – Avelgem Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Elia Group. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Horta – Avelgem Line project has been approved by the Electricity Regulation Commission and Gas (CREG), Belgium.
