Description
The project was developed by Horus Solar. The project is currently owned by Canadian Solar with a stake of 51%, Korea Electric Power and Sprott Global Renewable III.
Horus AG Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.
The project generates 206,017MWh of electricity. The project cost is $101.65m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2020.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.021kWh for a period of 15 years, starting from 2020. The contracted capacity is 95MW.
Contractors Involved
Canadian Solar was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 256,757 modules each with 370W of nameplate capacity.
The project is utilising trackers supplied by Arctech Solar Holding.
Canadian Solar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2020.
