Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 1,200MW.

Contractors Involved

Ansaldo Energia, Campenon Bernard SGE, IHI and Mitsui were selected to render EPC services for the oil fired power project.

Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the Oil fired project. The company provided 4 units of Tandem Compound, Two-Cylinder steam turbines, each with 323MW nameplate capacity.

Ansaldo Energia supplied Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the project.

IHI supplied steam boiler for the project.
