The ICS Power Alaoji Gas Fired Power Plant is 624MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Abia, Nigeria. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2024.

The project is being developed by ICS Power. China Energy Engineering and ICS Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading under a power purchase agreement.

Pratt & Whitney will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company is expected to supply FT8 MOBILEPAC model gas turbines for the project.
ICS Power is expected to perform operations and maintenance for thermal power project.
