Description

The project is currently owned by Comision Federal de Electricidad.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 782 million cubic meter. Ingeniero Carlos Ramirez Ulloa underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1996. The project generated 1,152 GWh of electricity.

Mitsubishi was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 turbines, each with 200MW nameplate capacity.
