The project was developed by Datang Baotou Yaneng Power Generation. China Datang Corporation Renewable Power and Renewable Energy Asia Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project generates 112,286MWh electricity thereby offsetting 106,694t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
