Description

The project was developed by Datang Baotou Yaneng Power Generation. China Datang Corporation Renewable Power and Renewable Energy Asia Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project generates 112,286MWh electricity thereby offsetting 106,694t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $76.725m.

Contractors involved

Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of GW 1.5/82 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
