The project is currently owned by Intermountain Power Agency with a stake of 100%.
It is a steam turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Subbituminous.
The project generated 8,413,932MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of Tandem Compound turbines, each with 820MW nameplate capacity.
Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the project.
