Isaccea – Varna Line is a 400kV overhead line from Isaccea, Dobruja, Romania, to Varna, Dobruja, Romania.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2022.

Description

Isaccea – Varna Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Transelectrica. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Isaccea – Varna Line project has been approved by the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority.

The construction works on the Isaccea – Varna Line project were commenced in 2018 and commissioning is expected in 2022.

About Transelectrica
