Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Umeme under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
China International Water & Electric was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
Zhefu Holding Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of kaplan turbines, each with 45.8MW nameplate capacity.
Uganda Electricity Generation is the O&M contractor for the hydro power project.
