Jamba ia Mina is an 180MW hydro power project. It is planned on Cunene river/basin in Huambo, Angola. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2024 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2027.

The project is being developed by Gabinete para a Administracao da Bacia Hidrografica do rio Cunene and Ministerio da Energia e Aguas. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.

The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 5.22 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project will be 82.7m. The project is expected to generate 535 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $710m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 units of francis turbines.
