Jaunpur Substation is a 400kV substation located in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Description
Jaunpur Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 630MVA.
Jaunpur Substation project development status
The development of the Jaunpur Substation project was approved by Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission in 2019. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.
