The Jhajjar Haryana – Battery Energy Storage System is owned by AES (India) Private (50%), a subsidiary of The AES and Panasonic India Pvt (50%), a subsidiary of Panasonic Appliances India.

The key applications of the project are on-site power and renewables energy time shift.

AES (India) Private and Panasonic India Pvt are the owners. Panasonic India Pvt is the technology provider for the project.

The storage will provide daily reliability and back-up to the manufacturing facility, while demonstrating grid stability and renewable integration services in the region.
