The project is currently owned by CLP Holdings with a stake of 100%.

JiangBian is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 1.1 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 272m. The project generated 1,548 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $337.607m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Central China Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Toshiba Hydro Power (Hanzhou) was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 turbines, each with 110MW nameplate capacity.

Toshiba Hydro Power (Hanzhou) supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 110 MVA.
