Description

The project was developed by Jiangsu Longyuan Offshore Wind Power and is currently owned by China Longyuan Power Group.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project cost is $163.629m.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2014 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2015.

Contractors Involved

Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Demonstration Project (Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Demonstration Project I) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 25 turbines, each with 4MW nameplate capacity.

Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Demonstration Project (Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Demonstration Project II) is equipped with Envision Energy EN136/4.0 turbines. The phase consists of 25 turbines with 4MW nameplate capacity.
