The project is being developed by CWP Renewables, Green Switch Australia and Hanwha Energy. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
Jindera Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 327 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 275,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 65,000 households. The project is expected to offset 92,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $163.5m.
The solar power project consists of 400,000 modules.
