The project is developed and owned by Sichuan Jialingjiang Jinxi Hydroelectric Power Development.
Jinxi is a run-of-river project. The gross head of the project is 14.5m. The project generated 597.69 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $139.94m.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 37.5MW nameplate capacity.
The project has 4 electric generators installed at the site.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Central China Grid under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 597.7GWh.
